Phase I Landscaping Being Completed. ComEd and Nicor Improvements Nearly Complete

Perez Landscaping is on-site performing the remaining landscape restoration that could not be completed last year.  The contractor will install sod in locations not previously done and make any repairs to damaged sod due to the utility improvements completed.

The ComEd Electric and Nicor Gas utility improvements are nearing completion. They are currently expecting to be completed with their improvements in the first part of May.

ComEd improvements are completed with the exception of a few connections between the existing and new systems throughout the neighborhood.

Nicor Gas mainline and service improvements are also completed. The only remaining work associated with the Nicor Gas improvements is transferring from the old to the new services lines at each individual home. Notifications have been provided to each resident instructing you to contact Nicor directly to schedule a time for these connections.  If you have not received a notification or have not scheduled an appointment, please do so at your earliest convenience.  Please contact Russ Jensen with the Village of Glenview at 847-904-4418 or rjensen@glenview.il.us if you have any questions or need contact information for Nicor Gas.

The general contractor, DiMeo Brothers, is anticipated to begin early to mid-May, depending on availability and completion of the ComEd and Nicor work. The contractor’s work will include installation of new water main, storm sewer, sanitary sewer services, and roadway reconstruction. Additional information regarding exact start dates will be provided in the near future as schedules are finalized.
