Concrete Curb & Gutter This Week

Last week, DiMeo Brothers  continued with the installation of the new storm sewer along Westview Road.

This week, the storm sewer crew will continue with the storm sewer installation along Westview Road. It is anticipated the storm sewer work will be completed by the end of the week or early the following week. Once the storm sewer work is completed, all the underground utility improvements will be completed.

Roadway reconstruction of Glendale Drive began last week.  The contractor started approximately 3/4 of the way north of Central Road and worked south towards Central Road. It is anticipated this portion of the roadways will be excavated and new aggregate base installed by the end of the week.

This week, the contractor will return to where they started on Glendale Drive and work north towards Westview Road. The contractor is anticipating to have this portion of the roadway excavated and new aggregate base installed prior to Wednesday.

The major work operation scheduled for this week is the installation of concrete curb & gutter. The concrete curb & gutter will be installed along the remaining portions of Central Road and along Glendale Drive from Central Road to Westview Road. The current schedule is for string-line to be installed on Wednesday, November 5th. Grading of aggregate base and structure adjustments on Thursday. Pour concrete curb & gutter on Friday. We are requesting all residents be out of their driveways by Wednesday, November 5th starting at 7:00 AM to facilitate this construction. Residents will not be allowed back into their driveways for approximately 1 week. We ask that you park your vehicles on the north side of Central Road, south side of Westview Road (west of Glendale Drive only), and west side of Glenayre Drive. Residents will be able to park on the east side of Glendale Drive during the overnight hours, but we ask that all vehicles be moved by 7:00 AM each morning.  We are requesting these parking locations due to the width of the roadways and on-going construction. If you require handicap access please contact Russ Jensen or Chris Baumann so we can make arrangements.

We understand the significant inconvenience the upcoming work is causing to your daily lives. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding during this time.

Hope you had a safe and fun Halloween!!!
