DiMeo Brothers started installing the storm sewer improvements at the west end of Central Road.
The contractor also began constructing the new water main
along the walking path between Central Road and Chatham Road. Work along this
water main section including relocating two water services, abandoning the
existing water main, and directional drilling a new water main under the
walking path.
Next week, the contractor will complete the water main
improvements and connecting the new water main to the existing water main.
During the water main connections, there will be disruptions in the water
service for some residents along Chatham Road, Central Road, and Glendale
Drive. Residents will be notified by the Village of Glenview prior to any
water shut-down. Every effort will be made to give 24-hour notice.
The contractor will also continue to install storm sewer
next week along Central Road from Glendale Drive moving east towards Glenayre
Drive.
